Presenter: Dr. Michael Keller

Michael Keller is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tulsa (TU). His research interests focus on the experimental characterization of complex materials and the synthesis of new polymers and composites that have an inherent multi-functionality. Prior to joining the faculty at TU, he was a Post Doctoral Researcher at the University of Arizona where investigated the synthesis of polyarylene materials for fuel cells and targeted repair strategies for membrane materials. He received his Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. While at TU he received both the College teaching award and the University teaching award. He was also recognized with the Ralph R. Teetor Educational Award by the Society of Automotive Engineers and has received an NSF CAREER grant.
