Larry Turner joins the officer team for the 2024-2025 year as Secretary. He fulfilled his board term and will step into the officership program. He is currently an Engineer, Project Manager at ONEOK. He has been a member of The Pipe Liners Club of Tulsa since 2015. Larry has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Masters of Engineering Management from Old Dominion University along with a PE license and PMP certification. He has 30 years of Engineering and Project Management experience across numerous industries including time spent with the US Navy, US Nuclear Regulatory Commission, IRS, Willbros Engineering, US Army Corps of Engineers, On Pointe Engineering, Magellan, and ONEOK. Larry currently lives in Tulsa with is wife, Sarah, and three children Allison (17), AJ (16), and Schafer (13).
Cornell Scarborough joins the board and will serve 2024 through 2026. Cornell is the VP of Business Development for Keystone Energy Group, bringing over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He started as a Class A specialty welder in plants and facilities, gaining extensive knowledge in pipeline welding. Cornell has held various positions in the inspection field, including Welding inspector and Chief inspector, and he is also certified welding instructor. He has been a dedicated member of the club since 2022.
Jennifer McGee joins the board and will serve 2024 through 2026. Jennifer is the Vice President of Customer Relations and Strategic Development at Manhattan Pipeline and has been a member of the Pipeliners Club of Tulsa for eight years. Her 15-year career in the energy industry has included roles in engineering, project management, and business development. She received her MBA in Energy from the University of Oklahoma and her Master of International Business degree from Saint Louis University. In addition, Jennifer is the founding president of the Women’s Energy Network Missouri Chapter and serves on the Associate Advisory Council for the Midwest Energy Association and the Pipeliners Club of Oklahoma City board.
Yadira Upshaw joins the board and will serve 2024 through 2026. Yadira graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Mechanical Engineering degree and Minor in Spanish. Yadira started her career in the Oil & Gas Industry about 30 years ago with ARCO Pipe Line Company in Independence, KS. Later she worked for Fluor Daniel Williams Brothers, Dresser-Rand Compression, Williams Communications, Willbros Engineers, Williams Companies, SemGroup, and ONEOK where she is presently working as a Project Manager. Yadira has been a member of the Pipe Liners Club of Tulsa since 1999 and has been an active member. She has served as a director for the club in the past. Yadira is originally from Ecuador and loves to talk in her native language with anyone that will speak Spanish. She loves spending time with her husband watching movies, playing golf and pickleball, and traveling to visit their daughters. She enjoys traveling to watch her youngest daughter play college basketball and tries not to miss any of her home games. Yadira has two other daughters and a new grandson which she loves to visit every time is possible.
Chris Hurst with Explorer Pipeline has agreed to extend his board term through 2026.
Renato Sanchez is Vice President of Business Development with PL-Enerserv and will assume the role of President of the Pipe Liners Club of Tulsa for the 2024-2025 year.
Patrick Nwakoby is Supervisor of Engineering Services for Explorer Pipeline and will assume the role of Vice President of the Pipe Liners Club of Tulsa for the 2024-2025 year.
Matt Baker is Manager of Project Planning at Williams, for the West Gathering & Processing area and will assume the role of Treasurer of the Pipe Liners Club of Tulsa for the 2024-2025 year.
David Sowards is President of M1D1 and Past President of the Pipe Liners Club of Tulsa (2023-2024). He will now serve on the Board of Directors for one year to complete his leadership rotation with the club.
